rain delay?

Anyone happen to know *why* there’s no “West Wing” tonight? I will ponder this question while using the time to visit Wal-Mart, I think.

Just a hunch, but I suspect it might have something to do with baseball.

STUPID SPORTS! They ran a re-run of “Law & Order,” too.

I have no clue. That question drove my dad and me nuts Wednesday night. I was just as irritated when Scrubs was inexplicably dropped for a repeatedly-aired repeat of Will & Grace last night. ::grumble, grumble::

NBC is not making me a happy camper right now, but I’ve been told this is all because they didn’t want to show new shows anywhere while baseball playoffs were on in some markets. Hopefully, this means all will return to normal next week.

I sure as hell hope so. I’m generally of the mind that no TV programs — other than maybe reality series — should be pre-empted for sports.

I think maybe sports and reality shows should all be banished to cable, or at least put somewhere away from me. Faaaar away.

I realized that I’d allow for one exception on the sports side — the Olympics can pre-empt network programming. I accept that without too much complaint. Other than that, though, I think you’re right.

OK, yes, I agree with that. Even I can sacrifice certain shows for a chance to watch figure skating, gymnastics, or organized individual madness, I mean, the luge.
