OK, I’ve said it before, but it should be said again, and again, and again: Carson Daly is a tool. It’s just the perfect word for him.

Spent the day doing very little other than reading and plotting. Plot plot plot, soon the world will be mine. Anyone want to go to L.A. in mid-march?

And since I did it for the Golden Globes, here are my picks for this weekend’s People’s Choice Awards (I will be registering my vote shortly):

ugh. That’s such a CBS-demographic awards show. Nothing (outside of the “new show” categories) interesting, or fresh, or new. I think there’s only two or three categories there where I don’t want to pick “none of the above.”

Yeah, there are definitely several categories in which I just have no favorite at all, because it’s all such a “who cares” kind of affair. But still, I am a big awards-show geek and will probably try to watch and star-gawk a little.
