Ohhh, let’s hear it for the fabulouso Chris Lehane. There’s a front page (woo-hoo, front page!) story (Clark’s Rivals Irked by Campaign Aide’s Tactics”) about him in the New York Times today, further cementing him as my favorite political operative ever (please remember my past rambling love about the book Smashmouth and the Feldman-Lehane prank wars of the 2000 campaign). As I told Mike, I think I need to find this man pronto; obviously, we are destined to have little evil political prankster children together.
Mr. Lehane declared repeatedly that “attack is the sincerest form of flattery” in politics. Ahhh, feel the love.
