Safari issues – question for any Mac-lovers out there

Anyone know a good alternative to Safari for internet browsing on a Mac? I love Herbie so far, but Safari seems to freak out quite a lot. I may have to switch to IE if I can’t figure out what the issue is.

I use Mozilla and I love it!

Don’t get IE. Damn Microsoft has designed it to protect you from yourself. It won’t even let me click on links if it deems them “unsafe”; it blocks pop-ups all the time and you can’t override the handling (i.e., so I can’t do my banking or university registration online), etc. I’ve been fighting it since I installed SP 2 yesterday, and it’s gotten AWFUL. I should know better than to ever upgrade my MS products.

I downloaded Firefox from Mozilla and so far it seems very good! Thanks for the suggestion!

I’ve heard only bad things about SP2 and its “updates.” I’ve been avoiding the download for a while — sorry you’re having so much trouble! I’ve heard there’s a way to do a restore so that you can go back to where you were before you downloaded it, but I don’t seem to have the link — might be over at http://www.microsoft.com...
