I am done! Done! Done with this undergraduate madness! And what a way to end things — with a whimper, not a bang, really. I had my Shakespeare exam today, and it was just a study in everything I hate about finals. It was almost surreal in its weirdness. I mean, there was a guy in my class who came to take the test dressed only in his boxers. I still haven’t figured that out. Also, I managed to sit not only right in front of the aforementioned grunting girl but beside I guy I’ve now had in two classes who never understands what’s going on — I actually think he may have some kind of mental disability — and he kept sighing and saying “Oh boy, oh boy” and getting up to ask the professor to explain things. So, perhaps not my most focused work, and I didn’t recognize any of the quotations, but… the essays were probably OK and I AM DONE DONE DONE.
More good news: found out today that I can stay at my on-campus job for the next 3 months, if I want. I should have asked about this sooner; I already feel less stressed, knowing this.
