Suddenly full of songs

I have been a woman of music buying madness these past few days. New buys:

Jamie Cullum, “Catching Tales,”which, by the way, SELF, you could have just perhaps snagged from your brother-in-law in KC since it’s what you bought him for Christmas! Duh.

Rufus Wainwright, “Want.” This is the double album (available only as an import, but oddly, cheaper as an import than buying it here) combining “Want One” and”Want Two” and it is, so far, like Rufus Wainwright: The Musical. It is brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

Also from iTunes, picked up the one Killers track off of Hot Fuss that I didn’t have, “Change Your Mind,” and the Postal Service remix/cover of Feist’s “Mushaboom.” Because oh Ben Gibbard, I heart you with the passionate fire of a fourteen-year-old girl on a soft-rock-indie streak. Seriously. Expect your name on my notebook cover any day now. It’d be right next to Conor Oberst’s (AKA Bright Eyes) if I wasn’t totally convinced that he’s a dick.

Audiography is having Scottish week, which has also resulted in some new picks. Snow Patrol has a new album! That will probably be my next full album purchase.

Sorry for the multi posting and the edits and problems; I have been running some experiments with semagic. Heh.
