But what if I want a sweater in August?

According to The Weather Channel (of which I watch at least 1 hour a day, often closer to four), Liz Claiborne, Target, and Kohl’s all hired climatologists last year to help them better figure out how to target their seasonal clothing to the, well, changing seasons.

The New York Times, in an article from December nearly exactly like the feature I just saw (down to the kooky Weatherproof guy), confirms this.

“‘With global warming and the unpredictability of temperatures, the goal is to create seasonless clothing,’ said Anne Cashill, vice president for design and merchandising at Liz Claiborne

Seasonless clothing?  Have my T-shirts been fashionable all along?
